Psalm 62:5 “For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him”

Equip Update

For months now, we have been praying for God to provide students for our first year of Equip. We are blessed and excited to announce that we have 4 students for this year. Instead of going immediately into the work field or going to college, two men and two women will spend the next 11 months dedicating their time to serving God, learning how to better serve Him, and growing closer to Him. We can’t wait to watch them grow in their faith during this time, and we’ll include you in that process too. Please pray for the students and staff.

If you are interested in furthering this vision, please consider donating to the Equip Scholarship Fund, or contact us to learn how to donate to a specific student.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

A generous donor gave all of the staff the opportunity to go on a retreat this month. We spent 3 days at Three Springs Ministry in Morris, PA, with the goal of building unity within the families here and preparing for the coming year.

The bus bound for Haiti will be shipping this month. Thank you to all who helped fund that.

Our septic system is still in the process of replacement. We trust God to provide the funds at the right time and ask that you please consider donating to help fund this.

Belize

From May 23rd – 29th, my son Jett and I (Joel) went on a mission trip to Belize to visit CMTS Belize. It is a beautiful country, full of friendly people. We had the honor of visiting many churches, from small ones with seating for 25 people to larger which could seat hundreds. The same God we see working in people back in PA is working and growing the people of Belize. It was encouraging to see what God has built at the location of CMTS in Buena Vista. Please pray for Andy & Nancy and the people of Belize.

Through your help, prayers, and support of the ministry, your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, via educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.

Sincerely,

Joel Smith, Director CMTS Ministries of Pennsylvania
