Equip Update

The ministry was glad to have all 4 students return from their Holiday vacations. They took a morning to go to the PA Farm Show, saw a movie for an Adventure Trip, and grew closer as a group. Nolan & Jenny Lapp were named as the new managers for the Equip program. The ministry is blessed to have them in this role.

As we are now 7 months into the program, they are beginning to think about their next step after Equip. Please pray for guidance, wisdom, and discernment as they seek God’s will. Some are considering college, and others are job searching. We are excited to see what God has for each of them.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

In January, we officially signed papers to partner with Righteous Rides. This partnership will allow the ministry to continue providing vehicles for missionaries on furlough while maintaining affordability. With a combined experience of over 50 years, more than 150 vehicles, and millions of miles, we are confident that this is the best decision for both ministries and for missionaries.

In the last weeks of January, the Warehouse has been preparing a shipment to Belize. As with all shipments, they have run into the occasional problem. However, our God is bigger than our problems. He is in control, and we trust that the trailer will leave when He knows it must. Please pray for the 3 men driving the trailer and other vehicles down.

On February 23rd, we are hosting a banquet at Shady Maple to raise awareness about the ministry and it’s needs, as well as funds for the different projects on campus. Join us to learn more about the ministry, what God has been doing, and how you can get involved. RSVP by Feb 3rd: https://cmts.kindful.com/e/2023-banquet

Belize

Nancy sent some pictures from Belize, with a few short updates about the winter months. Nancy says, “Joe Savaria had time off during Christmas. He built a work cart for the shop. The radio tower came down on last winter’s shipment. It was donated to the local Christian station and they were able to put it up in a remote area and extend the reach of their signal. What a blessing.” Watch social media for updates on the Belize shipment and newsletters from the Merricks.

Are you looking for a way to get involved in the ministry? As the ministry grows, we become aware of the many gaps to fill at both campuses. Bernville is looking for a chef, a mechanic, warehouse workers or volunteers, office help, and more. Belize is looking for workgroups, teachers, etc. If you want to learn more, please contact the Front Office at cmtsministries@gmail.com.
