Psalms 100 “A Psalm of Thanksgiving”

“Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!  Worship the Lord with gladness.  Come before Him, singing with joy.  Acknowledge that the Lord is God!  He made us, and we are his.  We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him and praise His name.  For the Lord is good.  His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.”

This year has been a year of change, a year of growth, and a year of new opportunities.  Paul wrote in Phillippians 4:11 “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”  So instead of looking back at 2020 in a negative way, we need to look back at the good that has come out of it and be thankful for it.  CMTS has shipped more items domestically and more containers internationally than any other year we have been in existence.  We have one of the best teams we have ever had at the ministry.  This includes staff, interns, and volunteers that come weekly or as a one-off.  We know that God is not surprised by any of the things changing in the world and we need to adjust to His path, this is His ministry.

We have felt your prayers here.  We asked for prayer around finances to be able to pay for our property taxes, that prayer was answered.  We asked for prayers around vehicles being donated to replace some of the aging fleet,  that has been answered.  We have had some really nice cars donated lately and we are still in need of more minivans to replace some of the older ones.  We were able to ship out the 600 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child this month, which will be used to minister to children around the world.  We are thankful for 2020 so far and look forward to serving God in 2021.

Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry.  Your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, through educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.  Please visit our website at www.cmtsministries.com to view the full newsletters and get other updates as well.

In Christ,

Joel Smith, Assistant Director
