December 2020 Updates at CMTS

Romans 12:1   “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you.  Let them be a living sacrifice-the kind he will find acceptable.  This is truly the way to worship him.  Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Each year many of us make lists of what gifts we need to buy our friends and family.  One person many of us leave off that list is Jesus.  He laid down his life for us so that we could have eternal life, yet we don’t normally stop and think about how we can honor Him with a gift.  In Romans 12 He tells us what he would like as a gift, what he commands us to give as a gift to Him our Creator.  So this year let’s put Jesus on our gift list and offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.  We can strive to obey his commands and love one another, daily.  We can look for ways to help others and share the love of Jesus with everyone we come in contact with.  What gifts can you give Jesus in 2021?

In the month of December, we were able to finish filling the 40’ sea container destined for Belize.  It should be leaving on the boat on December 31st.  Andy and some others are planning to fly out on January 9th for Belize.  This year they plan to expand the solar system, thanks to another gracious donation of more solar supplies.  They also plan to upgrade the water system.  Typically the water pressure is at 9 psi and is sometimes off for days.  Another blessing came in which included a pressure tank and other water supplies that will allow them to store more water and have normal water pressure.  Andy and the team also plan to start building the bathhouse.

The ministry also received a donation of all of the shingles and roofing supplies needed to reshingle the main house at the ministry.  This is a big answer to prayer and such a blessing.

Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry.  Your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, through educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.  Please visit our website at www.cmtsministries.com to view the full newsletters and get other updates as well.

In Christ,
