Jeremiah 32:17  Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Anna stayed with us while Misti and Lily went on their mission trip to Brazil. She was able to help me teach Sunday school, cook in the kitchen, and make crafts for Operation Christmas Child. It still amazes me that God could use something as simple as a shoebox to reach children(and often their families and their communities)with the gospel, but He does and He wants to use us too. A lot of my time goes into making things and searching for bargains to fill the shoeboxes. We finally got to check out the shoebox warehouse. They have so many great things at wonderful prices.

1 Corinthians 1:27-31  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

We had another young man come visit us for a week and we got to share a lot with him.

Now that things have slowed down I’ve had more time to enjoy visits with shut-ins, getting caught up on all my doctor appointments (I will have skin cancer removed on the 18th), and finally getting back to the gym. The swelling in my legs has finally improved.

Ray was able to help a couple of people with their car repairs and finally got around to working on ours…then I broke the windshield so that is it for this week.

The house next door is finally done and the new couple have moved in which is a real blessing.

The new Equip students are settling in. I have one in the kitchen with me each week and next week one will start with Ray. Pray that we can pour into them.

Please keep our kids in prayer. Jasmine has a biopsy the 18th followed by a hysterectomy. Misti’s youngest four, whom they had just started adoption procedures with, are no longer with her, so pray for comfort for all involved. It has been really hard being so far away with all that is going on, but God is good! And even when we don’t understand we can trust His heart and know He is working it all out. I hope to go  to Maine to help when Jasmine has her surgery.

Isaiah 43:19  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

We are grateful for your continued prayers and support as we seek to serve Him.

Debbie and Ray Pete
