“Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1
Equip Updates
Our new students, Sam & Isaac, have been with us for a month, attending Bible classes and working in vocations. They have been getting used to life on campus, and spending time with E2 interns Aidan & Caleb, while also getting to know the staff and the Bernville area of PA. Both wrote an introductory newsletter; we highly encourage you to read it. Here’s an excerpt from Isaac:
“While at CMTS, I aim to first and foremost focus on my relationship with Jesus. I also hope to do a bunch of manual labour in order to ‘build character,’ and learn skills that I can use for the rest of my life. During my first week here, I’ve experienced the kindness of all of the staff here and seen some of the work they do and sacrifices they make without expecting anything in return.”

Automotive Shops
Between Nick VanWert, Sam Adams, and Caleb, things in the Automotive Shop have been stead, especially for work with the CMTS fleet vehicles. Since making the shop available to ministry leaders and pastors, we have seen an increase in work and a growing need for volunteers. If you are interested in serving in the Auto Shop, Warehouse, or anywhere else on campus, don’t hesitate to reach out to the office for more information.
The Warehouse
Donations to the Warehouse keep coming in then going right back out! Every time there is a need for essentials like bottled water or toilet paper, God continues to answer our prayers for more. The impact that the Warehouse has had on the world is immeasurable. Pastor Britto with ICII, a ministry that serves India, Pakistan, and Kenya, has been able to visit the Warehouse and get items that are needed for their ministry functions and more. In addition, this month, Lisa Miller and the sorting volunteers prepped, packed, and manifested 8 pallets for YWAM St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Justin Darnell dropped them off along with 30 mattresses, and these items will soon be heading towards the island of Mayreau where they are in recovery from Hurricane Beryl.
We are also preparing to ship at least 3 more shipments to Uganda, Haiti, and Belize! These ministries are actively raising funds to get their containers to their countries; if you want to help with that, email us and we can get you more information on how to donate.
Maintenance, Hospitality, & More
Mike & Lisa’s new home is finally finished and they have moved in! We are blessed to have them become part of the community and serve alongside all the staff here. In addition, Leam Nicholaides and his brother Jason, have been a huge help in keeping things moving with the township, for their house and the many other projects soon coming up.
A group of middle/high school aged students stayed at the ministry for a week as their mission/serve trip. Sandra Kline and the staff led the group in sorting clothes, helping in the Warehouse, washing cars, and other small projects around campus. They are already looking forward to returning next year, and we will be glad to have them back! This December, we will be leading a mission trip down to Mayreau to assist in disaster relief, similar to what Joel Smith did earlier this year. If you are interested in joining us, visit the website or contact the Front Office. We will help with repairs at a ministry and support the families of the island through repairs and spiritual help. We will also help with the children’s programs by sharing the gospel and the light of Jesus. This is going to be a highly impactful trip, so you will not want to miss it!
CMTS Belize & the Merricks
Andy & Nancy Merrick’s most recent newsletter is available to read on the website. Here’s an excerpt from their August update:
“One of our prayer requests is for others to help with work here. Over the past few months, there have been two men that we have hired part-time. Both of them love The Lord, but they come from very different backgrounds. Like many middle-aged men here, over the years they have worked at various jobs, gaining knowledge and experience in different fields. Peter Enns has been a farmer and is an excellent mechanic. He is married and has three children. They were chased out of Mexico by the cartel and they recently moved to the nearby town of Spanish Lookout. Jose Medina is skilled in bodywork, welding, carpentry, and fishing, and is a chef of Belizean cuisine! Jose stays with us during the week. He has a number of family members all over Belize including his mother, siblings, his seven grown children, and grandchildren that he enjoys visiting and helps them out when needed. He really enjoys going to church with us.”
Support Opportunity
We have some extra costs to cover. To continue to be able to serve others we need to wrap up some old construction projects and prepare and pay the township and engineering fees for new ones.
Total legal fees, engineer, and township fees at this moment: $4,389.78.
We need to make these payments to continue to build CMTS for what God has planned for the future. Would you consider helping us cover these costs?
