Mission Work

This month there were 2 full 40′ sea containers that were shipped out and 2 1/2 full ones. The Warehouse was a happening place! We had 2 days that were packing into the sea container parties. They were a little stressful, but overall good! Belize CMTS & AfriHope Ghana were the 2 full containers and St. Vincent & the Grenadines were the 2 1/2 containers. So much blessing in those containers!

Ghana even shipped a car! LOL There was more that happened this month, but between this and Joel and I traveling, and the holiday, these took up a lot of the month!

Joel and I, Danielle, got this awesome opportunity to share about our ministry at a local ish aviation repair ministry. Not only do they repair planes for many many other ministries, they have an apprentice program that they train to repair airplanes and also can teach them how to operate the planes!

The CEO, Phil, met Joel and I at a Homeschool Convention in Pennsylvania where we were promoting Equip and they were promoting their apprenticeship program. They were really interested in our program and really liked us, so win win. LOL So, they invited us to meet their entire team and board of directors, present what we do at CMTS and then answer all their questions!

The next step is Phil & Elizabeth visiting us in PA! And see where God will lead this friendship!

Another awesome factoid is that Andy & the founder of MMS were considering a partnership back in 1982! Small world! LOL It did not work out back then, but who knows from here!

Joel and I went down to the very bottom of Texas to a city called McAllen. I added a map in the pictures for you to see it! LOL The latest prayer has been that we would find a church so excited about CMTS and support us building a 2nd US base that they would welcome us with so much love and support to get this going!

And New Life Family Church in Edinburg was that church! We got to speak at all 3 of their services, serve alongside some of their congregation, and have a table out front! This church sees the value and knows the need for this type of training and ministry down there. We had so many people asking how they could serve NOW, it was amazing! We said they could join a short term mission trip, but serve in your church to get started! It was great getting them hooked up with the Outreach Leader to start helping at their own church first.

The church service was broadcasted on TV and then the following day they got to be interviewed on a radio station morning show. All set up by this church! So thankful for Pastor Eli and Sergio, the outreach leader, of the church! They have been a HUGE blessing!

We got the opportunity to help bless the church and serve alongside some volunteers that were setting up for a volunteer appreciation dinner. It was really great getting to know those people on a more personal level and see their servant’s hearts!

While there we talked with a director at Rio Grade Bible Institute in Edinburg, a pastor in Brownsville, and we tried to talk with a pastor in Harlingen, but we ran out of time. We feel God is saying this is where the most need is, in this triangle area. So, that is where we prayed and drove around to understand the area a little more and talk to people about the needs there. The needs are so great and everyone we talked to said this type of ministry is needed down there.

So, what does this mean for a new base in Texas? Not sure! We are all walking by faith here at CMTS. If God wants it, He will provide it.
Next prayer, God will provide land and people. Keep all of this in prayer as we move along and walk in faith.

God is so good!

Home Life

Peyton turned 16 this month!

He wanted Egg sandwiches for breakfast, Mac & cheese for lunch, Hamburgers for dinner, and fruit pizza as his dessert!

Peyton also got his permit this month! We couldn’t go on his birthday, but it was a few days after.

While Joel and I were in Texas we spent a day together as part of our weekend away to keep our marriage healthy, but we tacked it on to a business trip as to not be away from our kids too much. Trying to keep a good balance between all the responsibilities! LOL We spent the night at a place on South Padre Island and visited a sea turtle rescue. I LOVE turtles!

We got to celebrate Thanksgiving with part of our family and celebrate my, Danielle, brother’s birthday at the same time. It was only a few days away.

We also got to have a family game night in Devin & Cam’s new home! It was great getting together with them in their home and in a new season of life!

Homeschool Corner

Started Ace’s FINAL portfolio and double checked everything with the state and our evaluator and we are good to go!!! SO CLOSE! He has one last report and 2 more books to read and he is done!

Co-op Class: Shadowing other professionals. Here they are talking to a couple that both work from home. One does an IT job and another owns her own business and runs a website.

Jett is making crystals for his science experiment.

Parker is making a dog sculpture at co-op.

Family Needs

Support

We are very grateful for the team of supporters we have. Thank you! We are currently at $2,500 monthly and where we need to be is $4,000. This covers what we need to live each month as this is our only income. It has been by the grace and provision of God that we are making it. We could really use your help. Prayers and awareness of this need to others is much appreciated!

Would you like to join our team? We need your help to continue to accomplish God’s vision for us at the ministry. Would you join us as a monthly supporter so we can continue the work God has started? We want to take you along for the journey and we would be honored to be able to share the experience with you. You would become part of the team and we would share how God is working and the impact it is having on His Kingdom. Please pray and ask God if you should join us.
