September 2021

Jeremiah 1:6-10 “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you!  I’m too young!”  The Lord replied, “Don’t say, I’m too young, for you must go wherever I tell you.  And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you.  I, the Lord, have spoken!”  Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put words in your mouth!  Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms.  Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow.  Others you must build up and plant.”

God has a plan, he will guide us and equip us to do that plan.  God gives us his power through the Holy Spirit to do the works he has planned for us.  We have to listen to His voice and be ready to accept that mission.  What is God calling you to do?

God has been moving the ministry over the past month.  We have another new team member starting on October 4th.  Her name is Hannah Noecker and she will be helping to run the office/administration end of the ministry.  We were praying for more help and God answered!

Belize Update

Andy and Nancy are getting prepared for a year in Belize.  Please continue to pray for them and the ministry in Belize.  The plans are to continue building the infrastructure for the training center.  If you would like to join the team there for a week, 2 weeks or more please email or call us for details.  If you would like to help support the mission there you can pray and or support it financially by mailing funds to our address with a memo “For Belize”

Bernville Update

We are shipping a 30 passenger bus to Haiti in the next few weeks and we are also preparing to ship a 20’ sea container to Haiti also.  These will both impact schools in Haiti and will help more children hear about Jesus.

We would love for you or for a group of people that you know, to come out to CMTS and serve for a day or more.  Please reach out to us and we can explain what that would look like.  We have some available times and would love to see you.

Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry.  Your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, through educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.  Please visit our website at www.cmtsministries.com to view more and to see other updates and information.

In Christ,

Joel Smith, Assistant Director
