Equip Updates

So far, we have had lots of interest in Equip for this coming year, and have one student signed up so far! Everyone at the ministry is praying and believing that God will bring one or two more for 2025/2026. Nolan & Jenny Lapp have been working hard to prepare for this year and we are excited to see how God moves.

At the Ministry in Bernville, PA

Warehouse Distribution Center

In June, we were praying for another donation from one of the local warehouses. While we haven’t had an answer yet, our past experience proves that God is always working to move things. And once things start moving, they move very quickly.

The Kenya shipment for Pastor Situma is still being manifested and prepped for this year. He is raising funds for the duty fees, so if you are interested in helping with that, please contact the Front Office to learn more.

We have had a regular flow of Warehouse volunteers all summer, praise God! One of the youth from a local church comes every Thursday, a long time volunteer named Brian comes every Monday, and our faithful Warehouse ladies who are up there at least once a week are just a few of the people that we are blessed to serve and serve with. As with every ministry, we are always looking for more volunteers— in the Warehouse, Event planning (a major area of need!), the Office, the Auto Shop, or wherever you are interested in serving!

Automotive Shops

As the Equip year winds down, Nick will soon find himself without help in the Auto Shops after Caleb leaves. We trust God to provide for this impactful part of the ministry, so if you know of anyone interested in volunteering and who has mechanical skills, send them our way! With an average of 30 cars/month, Nick will definitely benefit from help.

Maintenance, Hospitality, & More

The Staff Retreat at Three Springs Ministry was a wonderful time of rest and unity building for us. We spent an additional day in Morris, which opened new opportunities to do things like go fishing or visit the PA Grand Canyon. We look forward to this time every year and are blessed to be able to do this.

The offices above the Auto Shop are making steady progress. With this move, we are looking forward to being able to provide more staff housing as well as an Equip Classroom!

The Millville United Methodist Church Mission Group served with us during one of the hottest weeks of the year! The 15 youth and 4 leaders worked hard in the Warehouse, landscaping, cleaning the food trailer for the Fun Fest, washing cars, and so much more! We feel as though the week was impactful for not only us, but for the individual students who drove from New Jersey to serve. Hopefully, they will return next year and we can see how they have grown in their relationships with Christ.

 

CMTS Fun Fest Fundraiser

The Fun Fest is on July 19th! Months of preparation, hard work, and planning have gone into this event. Danielle and Kate, one of our amazing Events volunteers, have been working since March. To pique your interest, here are a few of the things we will be having at the Fun Fest:

  • Cotton Candy vendor
  • Petting Zoo
  • Bounce houses
  • Noodle jousting
  • Prayer Booth
  • Live Music
  • Silent Auction
  • Door prizes
  • Funnel cakes
  • Popcorn
  • Ice cream
  • Cornhole
  • Car smash
  • and so much more!!

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Auto Shop. Our garage is efficient, yet still years behind on necessary tools and equipment that will make it run even more efficiently. Between Righteous Rides missionary vans, ministry work, and outside repairs, Nick will benefit from new tools and from experienced volunteers helping him.

We hope to see you on July 19th from 11 – 3 for some of the awesome things we have planned. You won’t want to miss it!

 

Mission Opportunities & Events
CMTS Fun Fest Fundraiser

Mark your Calendars for the CMTS Fun Fest Fundraiser on July 19th, 2025! More details will follow, but for now we want you to know to be there at 11AM, entry is free, tickets to play games or buy food will be available for purchase at ticket booths.

Montego Bay, Jamaica Mission Trip

We will be helping to build onto a school for the deaf as well as assist with a medical missions team, from Global Hope International, that will be going down with us. We will be praying for people as we go and help build or with the medical missions. We will get to visit the city, go sightseeing, and of course eat local yummy food!
