Mission Work

We got the awesome opportunity to serve alongside a local Christian School for a day! Our Equip student, Sam, went to this school and it was neat getting to see some of the students again. They helped with a bigger project that piles up quickly— clothes sorting! We get donations frequently, and they are needed, so when we get work groups, they help sort these clothes into separate bags so the outreaches we work with can grab what they need most! I’m so thankful for the donations to sort and the hands to do it. My favorite part of these work days is the seed planted of future service and the Kingdom impact made on the students. Ok, second favorite part is the impact on the lives of the people that receive the clothing.

Equip Graduation was this month! What a bittersweet night! Most of the guys left that night after the graduation dinner, it is always sad to see them go, but it is also a moment of pride for the work they and the Holy Spirit have done and their growth. There is usually more visible outward growth in some students, but the way each of them did this past year was so good!

Home Life

We went to a local trailhead to get outdoors and do a family hike. This is something we really enjoy doing with our kids. They don’t enjoy it as much as we do, but one day that may change. I used to hate going on hikes with my (Danielle) family too and now I love it! LOL

Kylie turned 15 this month! She really does not like photos taken of her, she is funny.

I was surprised by Joel and my children for a day of one of our favorite things to do together as a family (by all of us) family laser tag! It really was a great night!

Homeschool Corner

We completed our school year this month! One of the last things we needed to do was PA History. We visited local historical sites and towns to talk about how they started and were built up. We also talked about their founders and why they founded the towns.

Prayer Requests

  • Support: We are still not fully supported and are actively raising support.
  • Homeschool: that is an ever going prayer
  • Guidance, wisdom, and discernment as God leads us as we lead the ministry.

Ministry Prayer Requests

  • Mission Trips: Prayer for getting connected with people to match needs for teams
  • Shipping: We have many shipping containers going out soon full of supplies to help ministries share the gospel around the world!
  • Staff: We are in need of another front office staff member and another mechanic to meet our growing needs in those areas.

Family Needs

Support

We are very grateful for the team of supporters we have. Thank you! We are currently at $2,300 monthly and where we need to be is $4,000. This covers what we need to live each month as this is our only income. It has been by the grace and provision of God that we are making it. We could really use your help. Prayers and awareness of this need to others is much appreciated!

Would you like to join our team? We need your help to continue to accomplish God’s vision for us at the ministry. Would you join us as a monthly supporter so we can continue the work God has started? We want to take you along for the journey and we would be honored to be able to share the experience with you. You would become part of the team and we would share how God is working and the impact it is having on His Kingdom. Please pray and ask God if you should join us.
