Dear churches, supporters, family, and friends,
I’m enjoying serving here at CMTS. Things are going really well! Melissa is working hard at Fellowship Manor and Sky Rocket (the kid’s ministry at Cedar Crest). Jackson graduated and just got hired at FedEx. Tucker spent time in Virginia with Cam and Morgan most of the summer and starts school next week.
So what’s going on at CMTS? We sent a relief team to St. Vincent because of the hurricane. Our mission team of nineteen people has returned from Dryden, Canada, where they went to help a ministry there build their staff housing.
We have four Equip students this year. Two returning from last year have just arrived and already started training. Caleb will work in the Auto Shop and Aidan in the Warehouse. The Warehouse is busy, busy busy. We are shipping pallets of wanted materials to the islands ravaged by the hurricane, and pallets of drinks to One Luv, a mission in Reading that uses food and clothing distribution to share the Gospel every Sunday. We are also supplying other materials i.e. food, clothing, and home supplies, to various other ministries, missionaries, and people in need.
The auto shop is also busy fixing cars for Righteous Rides (we are a hub for them on the East Coast,) and pastors’ and missionaries’ cars. And even my car and other staff cars are repaired and kept running by Nick our mechanic. Several new people are on staff, Mike and Lisa Miller, and Sandra Kline
Praise the Lord for all He is doing here. We celebrated it all with a Supporter Appreciation Dinner two Fridays ago outside under the tent. The weather and food were great and it was well attended. We were able to share all that has been going on here at the Warehouse and Auto Shop, and how God is using the ministry to further the Gospel and His Kingdom.
God bless you all.
– Sam, Melissa, and family
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.’” Jeremiah 29:11-13
