April 2021

Luke 10:2 “And He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Looking around outside you can see the beauty of God’s creation and His creativity. Such an amazing time of year for new growth and the abundant life all around us. God wants us to grow and live abundantly ourselves. He also wants us to help teach others to do the same.

This past month has been very active at the ministry. Five vehicles were picked up by missionaries in the past month. They will be using them during their furlough in the states. Without these vehicles, they would not be able to visit their supporting churches and would not be able to share how their ministries are going overseas. Over the next 2 months, 20 vehicles will be going out with missionaries. Please pray for the missionaries that they will be able to fly here and be able to make it back safely. Praise God for the vehicles being available and the staff here at CMTS to maintain them, clean them, and schedule them for the missionaries. Praise God for the vehicles being donated to the ministry to be able to be used for God’s work.

Some international updates: We got to sit down with John Haruna (Pastor from Nigeria we shipped to last year and the year before). He shared photos of the supplies being given out to hospitals, schools, and other places that needed the items to function. The van we shipped is being used to transport supplies to different ministries and people in need. Juanis and I traveled to Monterrey Mexico during the month of April to meet with some Pastors and local ministries in the city. All I can say is, “Wow.” God is working in Monterrey. We witnessed at least 7 people giving their life to Christ at rehab centers there.

Two of the Pastors we traveled with are Pastor Adrian and Pastor Oziel. They are both involved in spreading the Word of God at rehab centers (anywhere from 10-30 men or women at each one), feeding children and adults, and pastoring at local churches in the area. They need help with financial support to cover their expenses, food expenses, and expenses for the churches if you feel called to help them. Please reach out to me with any questions at joelsmithcmts@gmail.com. You can send them support through Paypal. Use the email ozroa147@yahoo.com for Pastor Oziel or adrianmontm@hotmail.com for Pastor Adrian. God is changing lives daily in Mexico and these two have a gift through God to help make this happen.

Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry. Your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, through educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him. In Christ,
