“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

Equip Update

The Equip students went on their international mission trip to Monterrey, Mexico, this month. It was a fast-paced, spiritual week of doing things like street evangelism, sorting at a migrant center, praying for fellow believers, building friendships, and much more. They were able to visit a women’s rehab center on Wednesday and a men’s rehab on Friday and Sunday. They attended three church services, and at one church, the students did a gospel presentation and craft for the children. Each student wrote (or will write) a newsletter about the trip; you can read them on our website by visiting the Equip page.

The Smith family, two Equip staff, and students leave on May 5th to drive to Kentucky for their final mission trip of this Equip year. In 2021, Mayfield, KY, was hit by an EF4 tornado, and the town is still in the process of recovery. They plan to do minor demolition and encourage the people there. Please pray for the people going on the trip, that they would make an impact for Christ and have safe travels while driving.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

The ministry now has four vans available for missionaries this summer, and a fifth on the way! We are excited to see how God has continued to provide. In May, the Automotive Shop will be available for missionaries, ministries, pastors, and church or parachurch organizations to schedule low-cost vehicle repair services. This will be a new aspect of the ministry, and we ask for prayer and wisdom as we figure out the details for how to effectively launch this new pilot program.

Things in the Warehouse are much the same: donations continue to impact His Kingdom. Each week, ministries come by to pick up much-needed donations. We delivered pallets to be shipped to YWAM St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Some of the items going are lockers, yard tools, blankets, school supplies, and more.

The new septic installation was started for a couple of weeks until it had to be halted. Until the next payment is made, we cannot continue working. We will need to raise $36,000 to finish it. We also plan to begin replacing the roof of the main house. Please pray that God provides the fund for both of these important and necessary projects. He has done it before; He will do it again. If you would like to be involved, please contact the Front Office to learn more.

Belize

Nancy was in the States for approximately two weeks. We learned that one of the men that came to live with them had left, but has since returned. The French family mentioned in a previous newsletter has begun to spend more time with the Merricks. We look forward to more updates in the spring and summer months.

Looking for a way to get involved? As the ministry grows, we become aware of the many gaps to fill at both campuses. Bernville is looking for a chef, a mechanic, warehouse workers or volunteers, office help, and more. Belize is looking for workgroups, teachers, etc. To learn more, contact the office at info@cmtsministries.com.
