January 2022
2 Chronicles 20:15,17 “He said, “Listen all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you.”
It is God’s battle! Just like King Jehoshaphat, we can take comfort in knowing that God will fight for us. God took down the entire army before him without them having to swing a single sword. If God can do that, He can definitely handle our day to day battles that we have ourselves. Praise God for that!
CMTS Bernville is off to a great and blessed start in 2022. Work continues on two of the houses here at the ministry. One of the houses is for Hannah Noecker. She has been such a blessing in the office. God has gifted her with the spiritual gifts that match that position perfectly. We are currently rewiring the house and doing some major renovations to the building. The second house will be for Nolan and Jen Lapp. They are our newest staff members that plan to come on staff at the beginning of February. That house was completely gutted and they are on track to be done by the end of January.
We continue to prep a trailer and RV that are being sent down to Belize by the end of January. The supplies inside will be used to complete the work projects planned for Belize this year. We still have opportunities for more people to sign up for a week or more in Belize to help with the work projects starting in February. Please contact the office or email the ministry attn: Joel Smith with questions.
Please check out our Facebook page and website for updates on Andy and Nancy in Belize. We will be posting letters from Nancy and pictures as they get to us. We will also be posting trip dates that are coming up and what skills or gifts best fit the projects.
We are very excited about what God has planned for 2022 in both Bernville and Belize.
Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry. Your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, through educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.
