Hello!

We hope this letter finds you well and that 2024 is bringing opportunities for you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and to share His love with those around you!

Joel and Nolan have begun our series of speaking at local Christian schools and sharing about the Equip gap year program. Please pray for more opportunities to share about this program and that the Lord is preparing the hearts of the students He will call to this program for the 2024-2025 school year. If you would like us to share about Equip at your church or school, please let us know! If you know of any students that may be interested they can call our office or reach out to us at equip@cmtsministries.com.

The students have been busy jumping right back into their routine since coming back from Christmas break. Some of them have had the opportunity to go with Nolan to hand out supplies to a homeless community by the river where Jenny works. They plan to return to this community with more supplies and hot food as the Lord leads. It is an amazing opportunity for the students to share Christ’s love with others and to see that they don’t need a ministry to organize evangelism opportunities for them – they can recognize a need and serve the Lord on their own.

There have also been opportunities for the students to serve with One Luv in Reading. One Luv is an inner city church that does weekly evangelism and meets the physical needs of their community, The students have participated in sorting and organizing clothing donations, which are being prepared for distribution to various ministries in the area. The students also serve with Restart Ministries on Fridays at CMTS.

Currently, we are preparing to leave for our student trip to Monterrey, Mexico, April 2nd through the 10th. We ask that you would pray for us as we take a more active role in leading the trip. We want to see God move in the hearts of our students and staff that will be going. We want to see people repent from sin and turn their lives over to serve the living God. We want to experience God’s presence and know Him more as we submit our lives to Him. So we ask that as God puts us on your hearts, that you would be willing to pray for us and our team. We appreciate all of you that support us, CMTS, and the ministries that are helped through your giving and prayers!
