Lamentations 3:25 “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”

Equip Update

God has been and always will be faithful to provide! For some months, Joel and Danielle Smith have been preparing for the Equip program and praying for students to join. As of now, we have:

  • 1 girl officially signed up for the program
  • 2 boys signed up
  • 1 girl interested but still considering
  • 2 boys interested but still considering

We want God to provide the students that He wants to have here. Please pray for the students considering and the ones who have already decided, that they would receive God’s direction either way and that they would obey His calling for them.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

There’s been a lot of outdoor maintenance thanks to Nolan Lapp. He’s been hard at work to start fixing, updating, and/or repairing everything that needs it. We are so blessed to have him and Jenny at the ministry.

It has also been brought to our attention that our septic tank needs to be replaced. Please pray for the leadership as they make decisions, and please consider donating to help fund this replacement situation. We appreciate all of the past support that the ministry has received.

In lieu of an Open House this year, we will be hosting a Supporter Appreciation Dinner for those who have donated finances, time, and/or materials in the past few years. The invitation has been included in either April’s mailing list or May’s mailing list, as well as the RSVP slip. RSVP is required to attend.

Belize

In May, Joel left for Belize to check in with the Merricks, meet the other people serving there, and help where needed. Next month, he’ll give an update on how everything is going. If you’d like to see firsthand what’s been happening in Belize, there are still opportunities to join/visit the Merricks. Interested? Contact the Bernville office.

Through your help, prayers, and support of the ministry, your donations are used to reach the less fortunate, via educational resources, job training materials, basic needs, and supporting the full-time staff members who use their God-given talents to serve Him.

Sincerely,

Joel Smith, Director CMTS Ministries of Pennsylvania
