May 2023 at CMTS Ministries

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him” Romans 15:13a

Equip Update

The first year of Equip draws to a close on June 2nd. They went on their final mission trip to Mayfield, Kentucky at the beginning of May. While there, they gutted a house for a family affected by the 2019 tornado, painted another house, and built relationships with the people there and with each other. After a long week of demo, they visited the Ark for a day. It was an appropriate way to end the year by rounding out the skills each student developed throughout the last 11 months.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

The Automotive Shops have seen a lot of movement this month. We are excited to see God still using donated vehicles for His purposes. At least 5 vehicles have been donated to the ministry, and more seem to keep appearing. If you are interested in donating a vehicle, or if you know someone who is, please fill out the donation form.

Justin Darnell, Johnny Debkowski, and volunteers in the warehouse packed pallets for St. Vincent & the Grenadines. They are expected to arrive in June. The Warehouse also delivered items to Philadelphia for Betty Odera and her ministry in Uganda. There are at least 3 more shipments in the works for this summer. Please pray that these would go smoothly and that the items would reach their destinations quickly.

Answered Prayers: In a previous newsletter, we briefly mentioned that the insurance company would owe us for overpayments from the loaner vehicle program. The first week of May, we received a check with a partial refund, which was enough for us to make the second payment for the new septic system. What a blessing to be able to see God move so quickly! While we raise funds for the last payment and wait for more materials for the sand mound, we continue to believe that God, our Provider, is good!

Belize

Nancy’s latest newsletter included updates from February until now. “We are learning about chickens and growing organic vegetables here in the tropics. We hope to be able to share what we learn with others. It also helps with the food bill.” You can read their newsletter on the website or contact them to receive email newsletters!

Looking for a way to get involved? As the ministry grows, we become aware of the need for more help at both campuses. Bernville is looking for a chef, a mechanic, warehouse workers or volunteers, office help, and more. Belize is looking for workgroups, teachers, etc. To learn more, contact the office at info@cmtsministries.com.
