May 2025 at CMTS Ministries

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.” Hebrews 10:24

Equip Updates

The final month of Equip moved far too quickly. The students left on May 23rd. Each has plans for the summer leading into the future. Isaac plans to enroll in a welding school in Canada. Sam is considering EMT training, and will serve at a New York camp over the summer with Caleb, who has committed to doing maintenance there for a year. Aidan returned to Michigan with plans to find work in mechanics and save up for future CMTS mission trips (Mexico specifically).

The hardest part of Equip is always seeing the students move on to do the things for which we have been training them. Somehow, it is also the most rewarding part.

We have one student committed to next year, and 2-3 more interested. Please help us spread the word about Equip, whether it’s be forwarding an email, sharing a social media post, or picking up some brochures. We want to see more and more young people pursue Christ through Equip. Our website has a lot of information, and we can always be reached via equip@cmtsministries.com.

At the Ministry in Bernville, PA

Warehouse Distribution Center

Justin, Lisa, Donny, and the Warehouse Distribution Center team have been working at prepping the Kenya shipment manifest. We are praying that Pastor Situma’s shipment will soon be moved out of the Warehouse and to his ministry. For 3 years, we have held items that Kenya needs, and now it is down to the paperwork. Pray for wisdom and favor for Pastor Situma.

We are also looking forward to sending out a shipment for John Haruna in Nigeria. His ministry, Jotessy Grace and Mercy Outreach International, or JOTEGAMOI, is involved in 12+ ministries in Nigeria. We have his support letter with further details; contact the office if you want to receive a copy or learn how you can help.

Automotive Shops

As the Equip year winds down, Nick will soon find himself without help in the Auto Shops after Caleb leaves. We trust God to provide for this impactful part of the ministry, so if you know of anyone interested in volunteering and who has mechanical skills, send them our way! With an average of 30 cars/month, Nick will definitely benefit from help.

Maintenance, Hospitality, & More

There are some big updates about staff housing, and they are happening very soon! Because of issues with zoning and the township, it seems that the best decision is for the offices to be moved out of the main house and above the Auto Shop. This will make 2 more apartments available for staff members, and save a lot of money in the process. We will need help with painting, remodeling, and much more. The Fun Fest Fundraiser will go towards helping fix the Auto Shop in preparation for this move.

Mike has continued cleaning up around campus and tackling different projects. His favorite seems to be scrapping things, which is beneficial for the ministry! Ray’s blood pressure problem continues to be a mystery; please pray for him and Debbie.

Sandra & Donny helped run the work group with Salem Christian Academy. They sorted a lot of the clothes donated over the last year, and were an encouragement for us. We are looking forward to at least 2 more groups this summer!
