“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” -Psalm 23:6
Equip Update
The first week of November was an exciting one for the Equip students. Grace, Emi, Kai, David, Nolan, and I (Joel), went to YWAM Lancaster for an evangelism class, Monday-Thursday. We learned how to share the gospel, pray for people in public, and then spent 2 days out on the street putting it into practice. The students shared in their newsletters about this week and how it impacted them. They are available to read on our website, and I encourage you to do so. It’s an insightful look into what they’re learning, how they’re growing, and what God is actively doing in their lives while in the program.
They had another chance to evangelize during Thanksgiving week when CICOP (Companion in Christ of Pennsylvania) held an outreach. CICOP received donations from the warehouse and the students were then able to help give out those supplies.
Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA
Over the last month, the warehouse has had even more updates. Justin Darnell and the volunteers have been working to create an inventory list that can be shared with local ministries, allowing them to see what we have and choose from those items. It recently went live and is being added to daily. It’s also been accessed by 3 or 4 ministries and outreaches in the area already. We are excited to see how God will use this in the future.
We had a workgroup from Maryland join us this month. They helped disassemble approx. 150 library shelves for Pastor Tsituma in Kenya. Sometime next year, we will be packing a container with the shelves, donated books, and other supplies. The cost to ship the container is $6,500. If you’re interested in helping to fund this, see our website for easy online donations.
We received our first bill for the Loaner Vehicle Program’s new insurance policy. Unfortunately, with different past issues, the cost per year has changed drastically. We trust that God will provide for this in His timing. Please pray for the board members and leadership as we look to God for guidance. He knows what He wants this aspect of the ministry to be; we are waiting to what that is.
Belize
Andy and Nancy’s most recent newsletter was posted in November. Here’s an excerpt:
“Our JCB backhoe needs repair. It is a key piece of equipment that we use all the time here at CMTS Belize and also to help our community. It will not move forward, and we do not know what the problem is or how to fix it. We are praying to find someone who can help us with this.”
