Noecker Newsletter | October – December 2021

Hi all! It’s been about three months since I started at CMTS. Unfortunately, I don’t get to see some of you every day to update you, so here’s what’s happening!

How I served at CMTS in October

October 4th, 2021, was my first official day, and after spending my first week there, it felt so natural. People told me, Joel, and Danielle that I fit right in with everyone. Everyone is so kind, and you can tell they all genuinely love God because they look for every excuse to praise Him and seek His will.

How I served at CMTS in November

In November, Annette (the secretary who was training me) officially moved, and I started flying solo. The first order of business was with Mel Gingrich: organize! Between Mel and I, we have transformed the front desk. Missionaries and people who have been coming to CMTS for years have noticed the different feel to the office, and seem to be excited about the changes.

How I served at CMTS in December

December was a slower month for missionary car pickups, so we had more time for things like switching over the accounting system to Quickbooks. I’m not an accountant (obviously), but I do manage the checks and donations coming through the mail, and create the invoices, receipts, and deposits. There’s still a long way to go with getting the new system down, and with Andy and Nancy having left for Belize on December 31st, there are also nerves. Thank God for modern conveniences like email and WhatsApp!

I also had more time to work on 2 brochures, many practice logos (thanks Mel!), and a little bit of the website. One brochure is for Equip, the Gap Year Student Program we’ll be launching this summer. Joel and Danielle (by the way, Joel was officially named Director of Pennsylvania in December) are both so passionate about this, and their excitement is contagious!

I’m sure there’s more I could talk about, but I’m trying to keep this at a readable length.

Where’s God?

Looking back, I have seen God work in some amazing ways!

  • He’s provided help to remodel two cottages, one of which is mine, and while there’s still a ways to go, I know I can trust Him to keep providing
  • He’s provided finances every month. I’m not at 100% of my needed support, but I’m at my minimum, and He’s been getting me through each month. I’ve been learning to trust Him in this area every month, and He’s been trustworthy.
  • He’s provided food consistently for everyone at the ministry. As a food-loving person, I am VERY grateful.
  • He’s grown my relationships with the people around me at CMTS. I’ve gotten to know and become closer with other believers, and the new and old friendships are so, so wonderful.
  • He’s been teaching me patience and that His timing is best. That’s a hard pill to swallow, and He’s teaching me the hard way.

Prayer requests:

  1. Continued provision! We’d planned on me moving into the cottage in January, and while there’s still the possibility of that, we’ll need His continued provision of supplies and skilled workers in order for that to happen.

  1. Pray that I would learn to accept and love His timing. Like I said, He’s teaching me the hard way that His timing is good. I shared my testimony at the PGCC Women’s Christmas Tea and tried to tell them about how God’s been doing this in my life, in regards to me still being single (and really hating it). I forgot my notes that day, so it felt like a mess. I’m trusting that God communicated what HE wanted people to hear. But it’s not just my desire for marriage that He’s making me wait on; it’s also the cottage. So please pray for these things too.

  1. Pray for strength and wisdom for myself and everyone else at the ministry. Every day there’s a spiritual battle as we dedicate our time to serving God. Guess what? Satan hates that. And he will take every chance to attack our weak spots. But prayer does a world of difference!

I’ll leave it at those three requests for now. I tend to get a little lengthy in my explanations.

Thank you again for your support! I try to pray for you each day, and sometimes I’m more on top of it than others. It’s a good thing God’s grace is endless!

If you have any questions, comments, prayer requests, etc. please email me at noeckerh19@gmail.com (or text me if you have my number)! Thank you again for providing this chance for me to serve God full-time at this amazing ministry. I’m excited to see what God has for me and CMTS next year!

Love,

Hannah
