CMTS Newsletter September 2020

1 Peter 4:10 “Every Believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace.”

1 John 4:19 “Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us”

As Summer comes to an end we can reflect back on the many blessings we have received here at CMTS and the blessings we have been able to pass along to others in the name of Jesus.  During the month of September, the Lord has connected us with a missionary from Haiti.  He expressed the need for a bus filled with school supplies to help the 120 schools they work with.  We had a bus already here that matched the size they needed and we had already been blessed with many new school supplies that matched their needs.

We were able to work with a ministry in Mendenhall Mississippi, called “The Mendenhall Ministries”.  They are a faith-based, non-profit org designed to serve the local community and those beyond our borders.  They develop programs and access funding to assist the poor and disadvantaged in low-income, rural communities within Mendenhall, MS, and the surrounding county.  We were able to send them home in a work truck (with utility box) filled with supplies for their ministry.  We were also able to provide a sedan to be used at their ministry.   Both of these vehicles and supplies will be used to show others the love of Christ down in Mississippi.

The Lord continues to bless us with supplies weekly to run the ministry and has provided an excess that allows us to serve others with the supplies.  Its been amazing to see how God provides the supplies and then supplies the person/group that has that need to us.

We are asking for continued prayer as we begin to prepare for the 2021 Belize trip.  We ask for prayer for the shipment to Haiti and praise that the container to Nigeria made it safely and has been unloaded.  Thank you for your continued prayer and support.  God is on the move!!

In Christ
