Welcome back!
It may seem to soon for another newsletter but I am trying to establish a schedule for my newsletters and the begining of the month seemed like a good time. So here we are again, hi!
Quote of the Month
“Let your credo be this: Let the lie come into the world, let it even triumph. But not through me.” Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Thoughts From the Month
Recently I have wrestled with expecting good things from God. I believe in a God who is fully capable of changing everything about my life right now, but what happens when He doesn’t. Why do I expect nothing from my Heavenly Father when my life bears witness to His goodness. Yes I have had hard things happen but I have never gone hungry and I have always had shelter. Even now surrounded by people I love and having a good job I expect nothing. Thankfully I am surrounded by people who are encouraging me and I continue to see God working everyday.
As I worked to clean the dining room chairs this month I realized what an honor it is to be able to clean up after hard working people. Cleaning anything basically turns into a crime show investigation as I try and figure out what substance is now in the wall or chair. Grease, dirt, and oil are all strong possibilities. I know some people would be annoyed but I truly feel privileged to be able to keep the common areas clean for my hardworking coworkers. These people diligently serve missionaries everyday sacrificing their lives to help others. Yes there is dirt but it is evidence of the love of God in action.

Prayer Requests
- Pray for wisdom in my personal relationships that in each one God would be glorified.
- Pray that through me God would be glorified and His character would be revealed in me.
- Pray for the CMTS leadership as they strive to make decisions in accordance with God’s will and highest glory.
My Agenda
Hospitality
At the beginning of the month I led a work group team that cleaned the basement and parts of the kitchen. I also helped with the catering of a funeral for the Thursday morning bible study leader here at CMTS. A lot of time this month was spent in Sandra’s trailer sanding cabinets and dealing with trash. We also went through all seven of the CMTS freezers taking inventory, organizing, and beginning a staff freezer. I got to work with power tools this month and use a hammer to defrost the freezers so I was a happy woman.
Office
The office was quite relaxed this month and saw me mostly working on donation letters for the ministry and doing the deposits and invoices. On the 14th I worked to reorganize the Righteous Rides goodie bag supplies in the warehouse and then I helped the warehouse process a Dollar General donation. We got a lot of laundry detergent and shampoo, which is a blessing because we needed it.
Thrive
I have been taking a class at Ephrata Community Church called Thrive Discipleship. So far this class has greatly encouraged my walk with the Lord. It has a strong emphasis on our individual walks with God but also how that affects our relationships. My favorite week was on the Holy Spirit and how He speaks to us. Recently I have realized that though I grew up going to church I know next to nothing about the Holy Spirit; I will never know all there is to know but I have become committed to acknowledging His presence and work in my life. Here we are on our way to the 5th week of class. Normally I ride along in the Darnell van but this day we took Simon’s Crown Vic.

Highlights
- The shipping container for Kenya is finally came after 5 yrs
- The cabinets are almost done in the Kline house
- Chad and Coleen Houser will finally be moving on campus to work in the auto shop!
Thankfuls
What don’t I have to be thankful for? This month God provided safe travels and safety at work. I had a great trip into Kensington Philadelphia to help with a ministry event put on by Cornersone Community Church. I mannded a craft table where kids got to decorate t-shirts and then helped with clean up. Overall it was an amazing month and I can’t wait to see how the Lord works next month!
Theme Verse
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2-5
