Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We are so grateful for our many friends and blessings! Last month, we shared our need for rain as we were experiencing a drought and our water storage tank was very low. Since then the Lord has answered our prayers with over three weeks of abundant rainfall. Now Belize is experiencing much flooding. The government has closed schools for this week and people can not get to their jobs because roads are washed out and bridges are under water. Praise the Lord, the roads we travel for church were open on Sunday so that we could worship and have a good time of fellowship. The heavy cloud cover really limited our solar power. Thankfully the temperature dropped down into the seventy’s, so we did not need the fans. The two of us had a lot of time together in the house, as Andy could not work outside. The upside of this rain is our 4500-gallon water tank is full again! The Belize River is over its banks and the bridge was at least six feet underwater!

Speaking of being thankful, while we were in the States, someone donated a used SnapOn automotive computer scanner for the shop in Belize. Andy was so excited to receive this tool which enables the mechanics to diagnose automotive problems accurately. Our first weekend back in Belize, we were invited to attend a Pastors and Ministry Leaders Conference. Andy really did not want to go as he had so much to do here, but then he felt the Lord’s conviction that he needed to attend. During the luncheon, we met a pastor from a small church outside of Belmopan (the Capitol City). A mutual friend said hey Andy maybe you can help Pastor Teck. His Jeep has been sitting at a garage nearby for over a year and this is the third mechanic who has looked at it. After talking with them, it was decided that they would have the Jeep brought to us. The new scanner showed that both rear speed sensors were bad. Now Andy had to shop around for the sensors and have one of the young guys install them. Pastor Teck and his wife are extremely happy to finally have their vehicle back.

We are so excited to have our oldest son, Richard, his wife Crystal, and their children Audra (age 10) and Allistair (age 8) coming to visit us from Nov 19th until December 1st. We will be traveling around Belize together, visiting the northern region, and then the western region where we live. and finally a trip to the southeastern coastal region. Please pray for safety as we all travel and that the Lord will bless our time together! Andy and I pray that as you celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday you will experience the presence and peace of our Lord as you give Him Honor and Praise for His amazing Blessings in our lives!
