February 2024 at CMTS Ministries

“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!” 1 Chronicles 16:24

Equip Update

The four students have begun their final rotations through the 4 different vocations on campus. Each of them has spent 4 weeks in Maintenance, the Warehouse, and the Auto Shops, and are now doing another 4 weeks in each. Here’s an excerpt from Donny’s recent newsletter about what he has been experiencing in Equip: “Both of my current memory verses I have gotten to use to help people in situations, as well as I have grown closer to Him by thanking Him for the little things that happen day by day. He is always working and yet we are sometimes blind to it. My relationship with God is growing more everyday as I am being still within Him and only Him. Fully submitting to Him and letting the rest fall into place. My prayer request for the next couple months would be that you pray for the Mexico trip starting on April 2. We are having our meetings and getting ready for the trip which means as much as God allows, Satan will try to throw us all off of our routines.”

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

In the Automotive Shop, Nick VanWert and Sam Adams have been receiving vehicle donations and fixing vehicles with Doug Sylva to be sold to pastors, missionaries, or other ministries. We were blessed with 16 vehicle donations in the past year, and are looking forward to how God will provide more donations in the future. Donations of cars are a huge benefit to the ministry, allowing us to have a small source of income while also blessing people in need. If you have a vehicle you are interested in donating, please contact the CMTS Front Office for information on how to do that.

Since he visited Hope Rescue Mission, Justin Darnell has felt burdened for the ministry they are providing to the men there. Through the connections we have built in the Warehouse, he hopes to establish a better relationship with them and also serve as a bridge to other ministries that can meet some of their needs. Consider visiting their website or contacting us to learn more about how you can help us serve this ministry.

Ray Pete has been pulled to many places around the campus, and we are thankful for his knowledge and flexibility. He and Debbie have been a blessing in providing things like technical support, amazing food, and much more. In the Hospitality area, Sandra DaMore has been overseeing our wonderful kitchen and cleaning volunteers. We are so grateful to have her helping alongside Debbie, Linda, Heidi, Becky, Terri, and Charli, who have all been an answer to prayers. In the same vein of answered prayers, join us in praising God for how He works! First, He provided new staff members: Leam Nicholaides returned to the ministry to serve as our Construction Coordinator, and this summer, Mike & Lisa Miller will move on campus to serve full-time in the Warehouse. Second, thanks to the Banquet that we hosted in February, God moved in the hearts of the people present. An attendee plans to serve by fixing the walk-in fridges and freezers, hopefully this summer or fall. What a blessing!

Serve Day: CMTS will be hosting another Serve Day on Friday, March 29th. From 9AM – 3PM, we will be sorting clothes to be handed out by local ministries! Lunch is provided, so be sure to sign up! Visit the Mission Opportunities page of the website, or contact Sandra DaMore: hospitality@cmtsministries.com.
