Happy New Year! We’re back and getting back into the swing of things. Recap for the month of December, I was with Mike and Ray in maintenance. We worked on taking apart an old mobile home and burned the interior and are going to sell the motor. We also emptied a trailer of wood paneling and had a blazing fire. Me and Mike went around the ministry cleaning up Ray’s yard and disposing of other items around the grounds. The weather wasn’t bad at the beginning but it got cold fast. I helped Mike and Ray fix the Backhoe. We replaced the rear hydraulic swingarms for the rear bucket. Later we patched and replaced the rear tire and worked on getting the battery to get charge from the alternator. I learned a lot from Mike and Ray, they are really knowledgeable on many things.
Christmas break was great. I dropped Isaac off at the airport and spent Christmas with my mom and my younger brother in Washington State with my mom’s parents. I spent time with friends for New Year’s Eve.
We are now in the second semester and this semester we are going to Mayreau for hurricane relief at the end of February and later in early April we’ll go to Mexico to help the local YWAM center. I’m with Doug in the body shop for the month of January. We are working on the Smith’s Ford Excursion. The Ford looked like it had two major accidents, one from the driver’s side that tore the rear panel and the other from behind, driver side. We rewelded the tear and patched a bunch of holes. We sanded and applied body filler and we’ve added primer and Doug is filling pin holes. We are going to paint the hood of a fellow staff member later.
We are going through the New Testament with Pastor John, Experiencing God with Trisha, and Search for Significance with Jenny. We also restarted Christ Link last Monday.
