“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”  Psalm 136:1

Equip Update

The Equip students have continued rotating through their different vocations and are learning a lot from the different classes they have been taking. We are all very grateful for the faithful volunteers that have been coming every week to teach the students things like apologetics, God’s relentless love, budgeting, addictions, creation, and much more. Because of their faithful service, the students are being further equipped to do God’s work this year and in the years to come.

The students will also be going on a mission trip to Georgia, along with the Smith family, Sandra DaMore and her fiancee Wyatt, and volunteers from other ministries in the area. They plan to finish building the interior of a home for a missionary in the so that they can equip men, women, and youth in the Glennville area. This will hopefully be the first of many other public mission trips that CMTS hopes to host in the future.

Around the Ministry in Bernville, PA

Nick VanWert and Sam Adams have continued accepting and picking up vehicle donations. They have Logan with them for the next few weeks. Doug Sylva has been working with Aidan in the Auto Body Shop. In his recent newsletter, Aidan shared this: “I’ve learned so much just from observing him as well as his teaching. He’s helping me learn to appreciate slow and controlled work to help achieve a beautiful finish no matter what we are working on. I’ve learned how to polish headlights and a car, as well as taken trips to the junkyard looking for parts.”

In the Warehouse, Justin Darnell and Johnny Debkowski have been working with the volunteers and Caleb to continue sorting the donations we’ve been receiving. Because of the Warehouse and the work being done up there, we have been put in contact with many local ministries, including one called One Luv. Their focus is on students in Reading and presenting the gospel to them by offering them things like candy, food, cleaning supplies, and more. We feel blessed to be able to help them with their ministry and look forward to how we can develop more relationships with other Christian ministries.

Sandra DaMore began organizing the clothing trailer to prepare for the Winter Clothing Drive donations. From October 31st to February 29th, CMTS is accepting donations of winter clothing items. We are looking for things like hats, gloves, socks, underwear, coats, longsleeved shirts, pants, etc. If you have anything to donate, please bring it to the CMTS Front Office and put it in the marked bin. Ray Pete has been teaching Donovan many things pertaining to maintenance, of vehicles and the CMTS grounds. So far, they have been fixing cabinets and a staff vehicle.

Mission Opportunity: January 13th will be a CMTS Serve Day. From 9AM – 3PM, we will be sorting clothes to be handed out by local ministries! Sign up on the Mission Opportunities page of the website, or contact hospitality@cmtsministries.com.

Belize

Andy and Nancy Merrick shared an update from Belize. “Last month, we shared our need for rain as we were experiencing a drought and our water storage tank was very low. Since then the Lord has answered our prayers with over three weeks of abundant rainfall.” Please continue to pray for them and their ministry in Belize.

Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. We are thankful for each and every person who supports us whether financially, spiritually, or by volunteering at the ministry.
