September Summary 2026 | CMTS Ministries

Equip

If you haven’t heard, Equip is taking a gap year this year. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise when the Smith’s, who will be managing the program, had to dedicate much of their time to Peyton after his accident.

This year, we will be spending a lot of time on prepping for next year. With our new staff, schools to visit, and the rest of the ministry to run, there is a lot to do to prepare for Year 5. So far, we’ve had 1 applicant, and 3 more young men seriously interested in Equip. Make sure to pray for the staff, the Smith’s, and next year’s students.

Auto Shops

Continue to pray for the apartments to be finished soon. As you can see from the infographic, Nick worked on 50 vehicles in September. Imagine how much higher that number will be when Chad starts in the Auto Shop!

One of the vehicles Nick fixed was for the pastor of a small church in Allentown. He shared that he’d been quoted a price of more than $1,600 for the job at a different shop; he paid half that here. He was so grateful for the work done– and the price!

You might have seen we are raising funds for a tire balancer. If you want learn more, email us & we can talk!

Warehouse Distribution Center

We prayed for more donations, and the Lord has provided! Thanks to the different warehouses & ministries to whom we are connected, we have gotten cleaning supplies, personal hygiene things, food, and more to give away. In September alone, more than 26 ministries, churches, volunteers, etc. were able to take and use things. This Little Light Ministries was able to get things for their fundraiser and silent auction baskets. They also brought the Mercedes family from the Dominican Republic to visit the Warehouse; they were able to pack their bags with things to take home to the DR. What a blessing!

Our hope is to see more and more ministries & churches visit the Warehouse. We want to give as much away as possible, so tell your pastor to check us out!

Maintenance, Hospitality, & More

September was a slower month as far as Righteous Rides vans are concerned. Three missionary families brought back vans and returned to the field. Out of an abundance of caution, we can’t share their names, but we ask that you keep them in your prayers as they share the gospel in all corners of the earth.

We would like to say a special thank you to Earl Galloway for coming to fix the Sylva’s deck! It had been in desperate need of repair, and when we made the post on Facebook, he responded right away. They are so grateful for his help.

Mark your calendars for March 12, 2027 – Food Fest is back! Check it out on the website or Facebook.

Thanks to the efforts of Mike, Aidan, Kai, and all of the Warehouse staff, we are close to being done cleaning up all of the scrap on campus. While this has been a helpful source of income for the ministry, we see a visible difference in how nice the campus looks, and definitely prefer that! Please be praying for the ministry finances though. We trust the Provider!

CMTS Texas

Kiel & Melissa Klingman will soon be hosting their first recruitment meeting for anyone interested in building up CMTS Texas. More details to follow, so keep an eye out!

If you want to know how to get involved right now, we are still raising funds for the base. Check the website for donation options.

Staff Feature

Justin & Jen Darnell

When God called Justin & Jen Darnell back to CMTS, He layed this verse on their hearts:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Mat 6:33

Justin & Jen have 4 beautiful girls and a rambunctious dog named Blue. They host a weekly Friday night Bible Study during the nicer months, and all are welcome! They are actively raising support and are always in need of prayer as our assistant directors at CMTS.
